The Homeless

Although I had hoped to go 46-0 with my week 1 football picks in an effort to eradicate poverty from the world, in reality I went 24-21-1. While a 53% win rate may not seem very good, it should be noted that I outperformed virtually every big time college football gambler in week 1. Anyway now that week 1 is done, its time to move on to week 2.

The first game of week 2 is Cincinnati +3 vs Oregon State. My pick is Cincinnati. Oregon State always seems to get destroyed in these non-conference road games (Boise State, Louisville) and this year appears no different. OSU still can't decide on a quarterback and looked very sluggish last week against an overrated Utah team. Plus its hard to pick OSU when coach Riley looks like he belongs on a PBS series about homeless people.

In other news, enemy of the blog Dan Rubenstein has just started season 2 of the college football tour guide. In an effort to become the next Jenn Sterger, Dan went out and solicited sponsorship this year from sports illustrated who agreed to post his videos. While he is a terrible blogger, Dan actually does solid work as the College Football Tour Guide so I recommend his videos to everyone.
